Default Squeaking noise when i turn

Replaced both axle u joints within the past year or so...
When i turn left or right at low speeds i get a squeak almost sounds like the belt but only does it turning...power steering fluid also good...within the last month or so when i hit speeds between 61-67 miles per hour my truck shakes accelerating, decelerating or coasting. Have had tires balance and roatated twice for the easy fix greased all of my fittings as well. Just wondering if anyone has any advice before i start poking around this weekend

Thanks

If it sounds like a belt, then it probably is a belt, since you are putting more force on the belt when you are turning, that's when it will squeak. As far as the shaking... that's a real head scratcher. Is it a lateral shake or a vertical shake? I'd start with the tires and go from there. If you have a dial micrometer you can check for runout on your drive shaft. I'm thinking you're either gonna have to drive at 70 mph all the time, or start chasing the shimmy shimmy shake.

Is the shaking felt in the steering wheel or the seat?

The rear joint assembly on your front driveshaft is what is known as a double cardan joint. It consists of 2 u joints and a ballsocket assembly. buy a ballsocket overhaul kit, & 3 u joints for the front driveshaft (once you get started, you may as well change the front joint on the front shaft, as well) & go to work. this will remove the vibes, squeaking, etc. If you crawl beneath your pickup, you will find, I am 99% certain, that the back end of the front driveshaft has a little slop in it, Zero slop is authorized. Doesn't cost much, but you're in for a full afternoon's entertainment! Good Luck!

It could also be the slip yoke in the middle of the drive shaft, that was the issue with mine, and the symptoms were a spot on match. Also, when you replace ball joints, replace both. It would suck to replace one, and have to replace the other down the road.

Ok thanks everyone my squek on the drivers side. I belive it was a combo of the Axel ujoint and the bearing. Grease looked fine and on a striaght wheel spin i got alittle noise then alittle when i turned the wheel.

The upper bearing on passenger side was completely trashed which it was bad enough it would explain my vibrations, The bearing on the pass side didnt seem as bad

So i just went all out it was time anyway Bearings, Shocks, U Joints, All 4 Ball joints, Rotors, pads and calipers......Shes all shiny and new in the front end.

On a side note I try to keep the salt washed off my truck in this Utah winter but the parts on my truck get so rusty anyone have any thoughts i shouldnt have to work that hard to replace ujoints or hubs lol

Had the same problem with a truck in Oklahoma, but had no luck keeping the rust away. Sorry.
