Go with the factory brake controller, you'll be glad you did. I did and love the fact that it comes up between the tac and speedo. the programming is so much easier using the uconnect. just my 2 cents.

You have a real nice truck Tweak. I really like this trim level. Thanks for the pics. Maybe some interior shots?

As much as I'd like the cleaner look and added functionality, the cost doesn't justify it as I only tow a few times a year. Plus, I only tow 1 thing so once I set my controller I don't fool with it.

I transferred my Curt Venturer controller I used in my F150 along with a Dodge specific adapter harness. 5 minute install.

I keep reaching for the column after 3 years with my F150 Soon I'll start reaching for the dial instead of the stick in other cars.

BTW, my gas mileage is now up to 19.5, which is mind boggling for me since this includes a lot of city driving. Very impressed!

i read in a different forum someone else having that problem, and he discovered it to be a door inside the heater box not closing completely. give it a try.

I must have found that post as well, I do believe that it is the problem. I now need to figure out how to get to it to check it out. I made a separate thread for it here, but got no responses. I'll likely take it to the dealer and let them fix it, but I'd still like to know how to get to that part of the box. Could just need a nudge to fix.

That's what warranty is for, let them fix what's wrong - once you touch it you own it!
