WOOHOO!!! Just for kicks, and today is the start of '14 Ram HD production, I checked VOTS to see if anything would come up... Sure 'nuff.... My order popped up in VOTS as Production scheduled...

From the time my dealer entered the order (8/6) to it going to D/D1 status, it took 6 days....

I've been stuck in Paint for a week! Called the customer service line and got a tool who apparently didn't even know how to look up the Status Code.

Thats exactly right...they cant access the VOTS system....try 800-964-0600...they "may" have better info...or not...the dealer might know...or not.....its rediculous......but Im calming down now that Im reasonable sure the thing is actually on its way.........or not........

I took that in the spirit it was intended, especially since it was from you... heheheh...but i actually agree, and alluded to that several times over the past few weeks...truth is, from 6/28 to today, I received i think 4-5 emails from them, and made i dont know how many calls and received utter nonsense for answers almost all the time....I wouldnt have called very much at all if it wasnt for that "glitch"....but, nevertheless, if yer gonna put a system in place SPECIFICALLY for the convenience of customers who spent ALOT of dough and are waiting, well then, at the very least, FIX IT....make it accurate, and timely...or nuke it!! if that doesnt happen, alot of folks are po'd from the git go....

Like i say, my attitude is improiving because I think its on its way...mebbe...heheheh

Feedback has been received and we're going over it. Your problem is someone that sends us data used mislabeled the body model code on the SLT trim level. Incantations now have to be recited and sacrifices have to be made to get that changed.

Edit: Let me clarify. It wasn't your problem. It was our problem. I didn't mean to insinuate anything!

VOTS is slow, but VIN Vision is worse... I say this because VOTS had info on my order today. VIN Vision had nothing...

I appreciate this more than you know...and legions of current and mebbe future buyers will too...there seems to be a HUGE gap between whats happening in the real world and what they (CS specifically) sees on the screen....theres no excuse for "not finding" an existing customer....nor being able to have the same coding that the dealer seems to be able to get....Im not going to beat on it, since Im hoping (I have all kinds of body parts crossed) that the thing is on its way....but had ANYONE in authority been listening to the conversations i was attempting to have, and the nonsensical responses, there would be ALOT of changes made in the "call centers"....
