Not trying to stop anyone from posting anything---post away--at least it will help your post count which some mistakenly believe means that the information is true and correct without question.

FYI the key inside the fob only works on the doors, not ignition (from what I was told).

A bring-over from another thread... if you go to start your truck and everything works but it won't start, maybe it disabled starting because someone tried to break into your truck. Disconnect the battery wires, touch them together, wait a minute, then put them back on (positive first). Then it should start....according to two people in the other thread who had this happen.

I couldn't get my garage door opener to program. I found out by accident that it has to be in gear to program and open the door. Thought that was weird. Dealer didn't have any info on why its doing that.

2013 6.7L Cummins 2500: need to warm up quick in the winter?
1. Set the parking brake
2. Turn on cruise control
3. Hit the "Set" button on the cruise control
Truck goes into high idle
Turn the A/C OFF
Your truck will be warmed up and ready to roll in just a few minutes!

Pressing the brake pedal will turn high idle off automatically. Don't forget to release the parking brake!

I don't remember seeing this in the user's/operator's manual but isn't it something you would ultimately come across? Is it really worth the "trick" or "tip" tag or even manual space?

In the user's/operator's manual AND something your dealership's sales representative SHOULD have pointed out prior to delivery/pickup.

In the user's/operator's manual.

Lots of?

No, no tricks. Everything your EVIC and UC can or can't do is listed in your manual.

I've yet to read a single 'trick' - worthy of a post - that anyone's discovered that is NOT contained in the user's/operator's manual or just common sense.

Hope this helped.

Cheers.
disabling the Drivers seat belt Warning/Chime is not in the owners manual and would most certainly be a "trick"
if you press and hold the dual climate buttons on the 8.4AN you can access a "hidden" Engineering Menu which is also not in the manual.
