I liked the plastidip so much on the trim ring I used it on the silver parts of the dash too!

How do you remove the trim... I would like to do the same thing on mine. It happen very often that the sun reflect on that trim. The designer didn't think for very long when they decided to install that trim.

I used a plastic "trim tool", basically a plastic screwdriver. It's very easy to remove, just don't go gorilla on it. Pry evenly around the circumference and it will slowly come up.

I got rid of the glare as well ... however I painted the silver and plastidipped the trim ring. I used dark slate grey (DV) and the color was lighter than the rest of the interior. I didn't like the result so I painted again using Agate (AZ) and now a perfect match.
