Default AC drain tube

I have a problem that I've read a bit about... at sustained high speeds, the AC doesn't drain very well and can sometimes produce small puddles in the passenger footwell. Otherwise, it appears to be working fine and the puddling (minor) only happens under prolonged 70+ MPH speeds.

The solution seems to be an elbow fastened to the drain tube (which frankly makes sense anyway).

What is the OD of this tube, as I'd like to use a FIP pipe (as opposed to something like a barb fitting which fits internally) to make sure that I'm not disrupting the flow of the water.

Thanks for your help.
