Default Right rear door won't unlock

I have a 04 ram and the right rear door won't unlock unless you pull it up the rest of the way manually and also my seatbelt light won't go off or quit dinging even if I have my seat belt on

Dollars to pesos the actuator is bad in your RR door. You're gonna have to pop the lining off anyway, so check to see that you're getting voltage to the actuator before you do anything else. If you're not, check for broken/loose wires.

Check the harness plug underneath you seat. I've had this happen to be a couple of times. When I slid my pistol under the seat, it knocked the connectors loose and set the idiot dinger off.

My RR will not unlock automatically when I open the driver door but all the others will. The RR will unlock though if I use the key fob or the door unlock switch. what gives? bad connector?

Hmmm, that is a head scratcher. Bad connector from where? If it works with the fob and the switch, why won't it work with the door? Actuator is good, wires are good. I don't know . Something to do with the control module is what I'm thinking. That's weird.

Had the same problem with my "Door Ajar" not working, actuator not working, and Dome light not turning on when the door is opened. Check the wire harness that goes from the frame into the door. sometimes the wires get cut with the movement of opening or closing the door. If they are cut, simply crimp them together or solder them and you should be set.

Seems like a reasonable place to start.
