also what colour do u recommend was thinking either 8000 or maybe even 6000.
next and most important what does the 55 wat and 35 wat etc make a difference.
what like specificly do u recommend xenon 55 wat 8000 k? slim ballst or that dont matter?
Could be just your bulb is crapping out on you, might want to swap the bulbs from one side to the other to see if the problem follows.
As for price, you pay for what you get, and ebay you get most of the time something for nothing that will not last and be more an issue than anything, or you pay and get had. If your gonna spend the money on something as important as your front head lights, get a kit from a reputable company like Retrosolutions or the retrofitsource. JMO
5000k will give you your best light output, as you go higher in color you loose light output, 6000k will give you a small bluish tint
Its a truck, my recommendation is 55watt, wire harness made for your truck, 6000k you loose a bit of light output but its got a nice bluish tint to it and all that in a projector system, you can run HID in your regular headlamps but you will want to lower them a few degrees to not blind on-coming traffic since your housings will produce flaring if they are not projectors. Also places like Retrosolutions or the retrofitsource will usually have bulbs that the plasma ball is located pretty well at the same location your halogen filament would be, so you get a close match to your trucks proper reflector position.
Slim or not, thats up to you, you have a truck, lots of room for a normal ballast.
