Default Mpg

2013 1500 ST (short box) 3.6L 8spd 3.21 1100 miles. Town averages 18-20mpg (US) with 27.4 highway @ 65mph. EVIC is fascinating when monitoring fuel consumption in various driving behaviors. I'm easy on the throttle striving for maximum mileage. I have since installed a tonneau cover and hope to see a slight improvement in mileage.

Interesting that the MPG have a wide range on these engines. The best I can get is 11.6 L/100, in a 50 percent of city and highway driving. Truck has 4100 KM on it, with tonneau cover.
This is still great millage compared to my old GMC Canyon at 15l/100.

4x4, Quad quab, SLT with outdoorsman package. On an average month I'll get 15.3, after spending a lot of time in traffic.

For what it's worth, I get the idea that city mileage takes a bigger toll on these than a typical vehicle. Getting a 5,000 brick up and lumbering under its own weight requires a good bit of energy. Once they're rolling though, they're very efficient. Around town (suburban driving, not heavy stop and go) I get around 19 in my 3.21 Crew Cab 4x2. This tank of gas that I'm still averaging 27.1 MPG after 318 miles has truly been 95% highway, and under 70 mph the entire time. Optimal for MPG.

3.6 8 speed 4x2 reg cab, short bed, 3:21 over 6700 miles my average is 22.1. That is calculated. Evic says 22.6. 60/40 highway/city

I have a 2013 SLT CrewCab, Deep Cherry Red, with the 3.6L 8spd Trans. It has had excellent power IMO for a V6. On Hwy with cruise control on I'm getting 25-27 at constant speed. Here in East and Central gulfcoast Texas its all flatland so I can get those numbers. I just turned 3000 miles and performed my first oil change, and went with Quaker State full synthetic. I want this baby to last, I don't hotrod it and go easy with it. I want it to last. Purchased it in NW Houston and also got the extended factory warranty to cover 8yrs 100,000 bumper to bumper at only $12/month extra for 60 months. So I'm wanting to keep it in top shape. Good luck with yours. I'm looking forward to good health with mine.
