Default Is my truck haunted ???

Weird thing happened. Been runnin a.c ( been hot outside) Every once in a while, the fan would " jump" up ( or down) a setting or 2 all by itself. Today, it just cut off. It stayed of for about 5-10 minutes, then came back on. Weird. Any ideas? ( no it was not on auto)

No idea.

However, a poltergeist used to haunt my daughter until she was about 3. It left ectoplasm in her diaper, smelled really bad, and made funny noises.

On the 1st and 2nd gens it was usually due to the temp relay under the dash.

My wife and I just took a road trip and we noticed that every so often the vents on the passenger side would suddenly get louder as if it was blowing harder. After a few seconds it stopped. The A/C was not operating in auto mode.

Haven't seen it cut off, though. Good thing since it's almost 100 and humidity is about 114% here in Houston.

I used to live in Manassas so I know that summers there can be warm, too. Hope it straightens out for you!

Default Update

OK so here is an update. After the " haunting " yesterday, this morning there were a few more " quirks". The time on the top of the Uconnect screen stayed at 5:08 a.m. for over 45 minutes and the " climate" setting was lit but when I touched " Media" or Radio, nothing happened. I stopped the truck, turned off the ingnition ( went into a store) then re started it and it worked fine. Ideas?

I'd take it to the dealer and see if there is an update for your radio. It could help. If not tell them about it anyway.

same thing happened to me today. i thought it might have automatically went into re-circulation mode, but nope. the screen didn't show any type of change in the A/C settings, but it definitely started pushing air a little harder. strange.
