Default Manual Trans swap

Alright guys, been doing alot of thought latley and decided I really want to do a manual trans swap in my 12 rcsb 2wd hemi this coming spring
Ive done alot of research but still have some unanswered questions, do I need a Tremec TR-6060 from a chanllenger or a T-56 from a SRT10? also what about tuning? as I think it will throw codes for line pressure and incorrect ratio causing it to go into "limp" mode and shut down. I will be using the pedal assembly from a challenger and slave cylinder also, Ill be fabricating my own center console and try to figure out a way to get rid of the column shifter.
Any thoughts or concerns are appreciated if this is even possible.... Id rather spend 6 grand on a manual swap then have the stock auto built as i prefer rowing gears anyways

Just a thought, but seeing as the old small-block 904 and 727 torqueflights bolt up to the 5.7, why not the bellhousing and 5-speed from an older 318 or v6 Dakota? Somewhere around 1993 to 1996 from the magnum series of engines.

Well in all honesty I thought about that but the NV3500 wont hold the power Im wanting to put down with out being built also... Thats why Im looking into the T-56 or the TR-6060 which is and updated version of the T-56 for the challenger, they both should hold 600-700rwhp before they need any help.

Eventually after I get the tranny swap done if its possible I will be doing internals and a turbo build of some sort, my ultimate goal is to have a 6spd turbo truck into the mid 11's in the 1/4

I'd go with the new Magnum T-56. It's rated at 700 ft lbs, has a choice of 2 gear sets and doesn't have a divorced shifter like the tr-6060.. If you go with the right tuner they can take care of the codes. Install a McLeod RXT twin disc in front of it and your set...it's rated at 1000hp. I have not driven a vehicle with this setup yet, but I have one sitting in my garage (for my mustang) after reading the great reviews on the mustang/cobra side.

With this setup only thing ill need to find is a bell housing that will bolt to the 5.7, one from a challenger should work right? as well as a flywheel? Im gonna contact D&D and see if we cant piece something together so I can start collecting parts soon and buy the tranny this spring as money allows and the wife
Drive shaft wont be an issue as I have a buddy that can make me a full aluminum one in a few days notice, I can fab the tranny mount myself, only other worries I have is still tuning and the input spline on the tranny itself but D&D should be able to work with me on that so I can run a clutch from a challenger

Any ideas on a tuner I could contact to see if they could take care of the codes? I live in kentucky and most guys around here only do mustangs or ls1's and wont even look at a dodge especially since its a truck

I'm pretty sure Josh at HHP can take care of you. I added a few other shops to my above post that may be able to help you piece a kit together.

Tremec has standard pricing on the trans so everyone should be charging the same so it'll be on all the other stuff and shipping where you try to work your deal.
