Got rid of my Goodyear SR/A tires on Craigs List for $200, bought some 275/65R20 Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires way better tire than the Goodyear tires that came on the truck.

The stock 17" are Goodyear Wranglers and they are better than the 20" SRA's.

they suck for winter or gravel.
They are ok for summer dry good roads.

I haven't had any problems with my SR-As, but I have driven very little off pavement. They throw more rocks at my paint than the Wrangler HPs on my dad's '09 (Thanks county for the shitty chip job on our neighborhood roads), but the SR-As seem to handle better when its wet. I'm keeping mine until they wear out (or give out) but I plan on getting some stock size General Grabber HTSs next.

As a side note, has anyone tried the Grabber HTS?

Do you know which Wranglers the 17" trucks are equipped with? The are a bunch of tires in the Wrangler family (including the SR-A) and I'm interested in knowing which ones are fitted to the 17" wheels.

The tire store said they'd give me $400 for the stock Pieces o' Crap. When my truck finally gets delivered (someday..) assuming it's not too late and they are still open, I plan on driving straight from the dealer to the tire store and getting rid of them ASAP. Don't intend for those P rated tires to ever darken my driveway.

The outdoorsman rams around here come with LT tires and they are good year wrangler at/s. they have a more all terrain tread and look like the silent armour tires good year makes.

To answer an earlier question, the bfg all terrains do NOT come in the factory 265/60/20 size. You have to step up to a lt tire and 65 series. A little taller, but looks good and is a very popular tire size n the ram. Bfg has a new rugged terrain however in stock 20" size, and it's p metric.

2600 miles and I've only ruined one tire so far. With 4 plies they are unreliable if you drive on gravel roads, but probably work fine if you have a city pickup. I'm trying to make mine last, but see the writing on the wall.

Yes the Wrangler AT/S, I know my dealer upgrades the 20" tires to BFG A/T on Dick Cepek rims.

I went with the Grabber HTS when I got my new wheels. I've only had them on for about 500 miles so can't really give an opinion yet. They did rate a little higher than 2 other tires for the type of driving I do, that's why I chose them. I very rarely go off road so they fit my needs.
