Myth: To get good fuel economy, you need a small car.
Well, this is questionable. Yeah, there are small cars with rotten mileage, and big cars with good mileage, but weight and size certainly is still a factor in the equation. The best mileage I ever got was a Geo Metro, that routinely delivered 62mpg on the freeway and not much less in town, and that was with 25 year-old technology.
