Question Issues ....non stop

Hi all , first post here . I have had issues with truck from day one, long story short the srv 4wd light will not go away I'm on trip 5 to dealer ship , parts have been replaced and guess what 3 miles down road "ding " light came back. I decided to call dodge and get some answers. They set me up with a care manager who is going to handle all dealership activity from this point. The only mod I have on truck is 2 inch level in front could this be the issue that they can not find? Also at what point is a truck a Lemmon? Thanks guys for reading .

I wouldn't think its your level kit only because you did state you have had this problem since day one. Hopefully it is just something simple that your service techs are overlooking rather than just throwing parts at it. Good luck bud and keep us posted.

didnt catch that your service 4w came on before your level kit. it will be pretty hard to blame the kit if you brought it for this problem befor kit was added.

Yeah, I'd hope not. The lady was nice, she said she will be calling me back soon to set up another visit to dealer. I asked her what the deal is if try can not solve problem. I only ask because this has been going on so long. She said something to the extent of having ram engineers look at it. I don't know if I'm all about wasting so much more of my time, at what point would you guys want replacement. I know it sounds far fetched but it seems like I live at dealership. I can not stand that ding sound anymore!!!!

I know some of the lifted guys has issues because after the install some plug wasn't attached back fully or properly so at highway speeds the service 4wd light would come on. It was a simple fix, maybe a longer wire or something? Or they had just forgotten to plug it in altogether. Not saying you have a lift, but it could be the same issue. A lose wire. I can't remember the name or where the wire is.

if you contact fastnugly@BP here on the forum (Andrew) he had the issue I think and can tell you what the solution was. wouldn't hurt to try that. cover your bases

Yeah I will check on that, light always seems to come on when I'm not moving. They changed modules and actuators all ready, checked wiring and whatever else they do. Always is bring it it, we need to order part and wait a week. I'm jut curious how the process with this case manager is going to work out, I don't want to spend test of year in dealerships unless I'm buying new haha
