My dealer called me this morning, Friday, at 8:15 that there were 12 transmissions heading from the plant Saturday. Interesting, and that I was number one or two so was in this delivery for sure and the due date is the 13th or Tuesday. That leaves them a week to wiggle for the 30 days. I'm betting the dealer looks it over good before installing it. Let's see if it gets here next week. Transmission - Lemon Law - transmission - Lemon Law --- TA ta TAAAAAA!

Now for concessions and I want your thoughts please. I'm don't think I'm being greedy in this. I'm just wanting a warm fuzzy feeling about my now questionable faith in anything on this truck.
1) Corporate is going to refund my 1st months payment that I made last night. Lemon Law guy said do not cash it until the truck is back and working good.
2) Corporate offered me 7/100000 max care bumper to bumper. I already bought 5/100000 from the dealer. Because I bought from the dealer it didn't show in his information - odd the 4 year oil change and GAP did though. I say since I've already financed it - bump me up to the 7/100000. Couldn't be costing them much for 2 years more and I'd even say make it 140,000 miles.
3) Lastly, when I 1st called RAM CS I was given an unlimited power train service contract with zero deductible. I said GREAT!! The Corp guy says he never saw that and I can't get "Jerrod" back on the phone. I want that also as it was 1st offered. I think he said the conversation was recorded and I call this a verbal contract and certainly a keeper! They offered this on HEMIs some 3 years ago as standard and I had one.

So that's it. It's not like this will cost Chrysler anything - as long as their product is good and they already have 5/100000 powertrain. I say sweeten the pot some.

semlohde; I hope they get the best mechanic in your dealership to install your new tranny bud. Pre fill torque converter, pre fill torque converter, pre fill torque converter......Just makin sure they get my psychic message. I like a lifetime Powertrain warranty better along with the 7/150000 bumper to bumper and 0 deduct.

So lets have an update of this extremely horrible experience. Corp called me a week ago Thursday the 8th. He said my transmission was leaving Monday the 12th and hopefully would be here today the 16th. My dealer called me last Friday the 9th and assured me my transmission was leaving the plant Saturday the 10th and be here Tuesday the 13th. Knowing they were both lying out their )(&*& I just said ok and that I'd given up on them. You know, having a lemonlaw attorney ready. Welp, today the 16th my dealer called and said my transmission would be here Tuesday - the 20th and the 31st day since they got it back on their lot. GOTTUM you say. NOPE. And chrysler can do anything they want. So it's been on their lot 27 days right now. I can't say enough bad things about chrysler and remain on the forum. I can't express myself. So anyone wanting to buy a chrysler product, and I've bought some 8-10 trucks, durangos and the wife has a 1500 - just see that their warranty means they'll fix it whenever they darn well feel like it and the dealer once they sell it doesn't care one bit. And the laws protect them so they can screw it up numerous times before an attorney will touch it - because they won't win. As of 1pm cst Friday I haven't heard from corporate in a week. And while my msrp 64,800 leather seat megacab rots on their lot I get an Avenger to drive around in. Nope - can't even begin to say on the forum what I feel about them.

huntergreen - I know you can't believe it. I couldn't believe what I was being told after a week of being told wait until the 30th day. They exceed it, they blew away my summer, when I was told I'd have to pick it up and if it wasn't like a new truck take it back - but it had to be 2 or 3 times - I simply can't believe this is happening. They've had it 4 weeks and corporate never called today. And the dealers service manager said we'd go have coffee after this. OH NO WE WON'T!!! Let me tell you how great it was to make that payment! And as fast as chrysler is they don't have me set up to print the receipt so I haven't faxed it to corporate to even see if they renig on their offer to repay my 1st month. Like they "couldn't find" the life time power train warranty I was given by Jerrod - before I went up to senior VP of quality. Yes, I can't believe it either.

OK, I can clearly understand your frustration at what's going on with your truck. But, Who said Chrysler can do anything they want, and why do you have to take it back two or three times before lemonlaw can take effect? Was this coming from your attorney or Chrysler? Good Luck on getting this resolved.
