Default Replacing SLT bumper with a Sport one

The SLT bighorn that I ordered has a chrome bumpers. Will the Sport colored bumpers easily be installed replacing the chrome bumper? If so, where to order? Ballpark cost?

Is this a 2013? You're looking at a lot of money (north of $1,000) unless you find someone to trade you straight up. I found someone and traded on my 2010 and it only cost me a couple hundred(had to add fog lights) and cost him next to nothing. Pretty easy though. But everything needs changed(brackets, etc).

The Big Horn package includes fog lights. They look to me to in the exact same location as the fog lights on the Sport.
It is a 2014, on order.
I know some people will say that I should have ordered the Sport if I wanted the colored bumpers but the Sport is not available in the 3.6L!

Hey guys. I have a black slt. I got a very good sign shop to vinly wrap the bumper with heavy duty gloss black vinyl. Its not a perfect match but it still looks awsome. If I figure out how to upload pics ill show you. But it turned out better then I had imagined.

Roger I think for the 3rd gens it's a bit easier/cheaper. With the 4th gens all the brackets, absorber, etc are completely different from plastic to metal bumper. So it all needs swapped or replaced.

OP, if you can find someone to swap, it's not too bad.

Another option is powder coating the bumpers.

Why didn't you look into getting a Outdoorsman? The 2013 has the option to get color matched bumpers. I don't know about the 2014.

Thanks, Sean. I'll look in to it further. And, I'll report my findings for other 3rd Gen owners.

I bought my hfe thinking the chrome looked good. Then I saw a blacked out ram at the dealership and it looked awesome. I'm looking into plasti dipping my bumpers and badges. Lookup dipyourcar.com on youtube they have great vids on how to do it.

The Outdoorsman is not available in a regular cab truck!
