Default need help, wheel install issue

hey all, just got my 18x9 -12 v-tec warlords in matte black with the 35x12.5 toyo mt's and i tried to install them last night without success (i know, sounds juvenile) heres the thing. the lugs provided with the wheels are so close to the side of the wheel cutout in the rim. not sure how to explain better, but i would need a very thin walled socket to tighten them.

also, the lugs went on about 1/2" nicely, then got pretty snug. any chance this is just due to a close tolerance or wrong thread in the lugs? what is the thread pitch for the 2013's on the wheel studs?

any info appreciated as i want to get this sorted out today. (cant stand looking at these sweet wheel/tires in my apt without them on the truck

thanks!

edit: i looked at my manual, and the thread size is M14x1.5 the wheel nuts i got with the wheels are 9/16x18. clearly one is metric, other is imperial. are they compatible?

Check Ebay bud. You can find exactly what you need there. You may need to go to a "tuner" style lug nut which will give you clearance. I had to do the same on my last car that I installed custom wheels on. I got super lucky and the mechanic at the installation shop had two of the thin wall sockets and sold me one for 10 bucks. i gave him a twenty just for being a nice guy.
Anyways I did a quick search, see if you find what you need in this link.

I used a set of forged aluminum, 17 mm hex style tuner lugs. I ordered them polished, don't get them anodized or powdercoated. They'll look like crap quick.
one other thing is the seat style of the rim. Check with the wheel manufacturer to make sure you get the right style. You can match them up by sight...IF you have them in your hands while looking at the wheel.
