Default 2013 CAI Issues

I'm looking at the S&B CAI kit (love the look) for my 2013 Hemi... the problem is, it is a 10-12 build and the AC lines are running right through where the filter box needs to go. Is there a known fix for this other than changing the lines to a flexible braided cable and running them where they should go in the first place?

Any thoughts?

Jeff

I just used a dremel and "modified" my K&N box so that the AC line just went through and I slipped the CAI under it. I then wrapped the AC line in a rubber hose just in case it rubbed on the CAI box.

Works pretty well and I've had no issues yet.

Could always cut a slot in the heat shield for the wires.

Got mine in without any mods, but it was a struggle. I didn't think it was going to fit at first but with enough pushing, shoving and grunting i eventually got it wedged in there.

Same here got mine in a few weeks ago no problem and just put one in yesterday with my buddy's brand new 2013 sport. No modification needed. Just have to squeez it in there.
