Default What tires and size should I choose??

I have just ordered my Bilstein 5100's for my new Black 2013 big horn crew 4x4. I now have the HUGE decision in choosing what tires to buy and what size. I would love to hear from y'all and possibly see some pictures. I am keeping my factory 20" wheels. I am open to all terrains and mud terrains. All pics and advice welcome. TIA.

Do you have 20x8 wheels? If so I would go with one of 2 options:

295/60r20 toyo mt
295/60r20 trail grapplers

I don't like telling people to use the search function b/c I can't ever find anything with it BUT there are tons of tire size threads. It is 75% of the discussion on this forum.

Not sure if my rims are 20x8 or 20x9, I'll have to check. I have searched and searched and searched. I think it's easier to just ask and have people respond. People love posting pics of their trucks on here, why not give them another excuse to do so. I will certainly post my pics once I get my shocks and tires on. I would like to see some 33" tires with the bilsteins. I haven't had any luck finding that yet.

The stock 275/60/20 is a 33" tire. You shouldn't have much problem finding a stock truck with Bilsteins.

Check out your window sticker if you have it handy. It will tell you which ones you have.

Yes the stocker is a 33" but it is highway and looks lame. Even a 275/65r20 in an agressive tread looks really good. Goodyear Duratracs come in that size. One of my favorites.

Another good way to search is through google image search. Lots of pics that will link you to forums (most back here) with build specs.

Hope this helps.

if you want a good aggressive tread with gooed driving on road characteristics i would go with cooper discoverer stt's i have 37 inch on my power wagon and i love them. off road in the mud they dig hard and have good wet weather traction. or a good tread pattern close to it is the toyo m/t they are a little more money but they are toyo's they will last longer than coopers and probably better sidewalls.

I run 285/60r20 Goodyear duratrac's. quite, tow well, barely look worn after 15k miles between having them in my 09 and 13. No rub on a stock wheel and quite on the road for as aggressive as they look. Good in sand mud, and dirt so far no issues. They aren't cheap though. I run a 2" level.

I am running a 305/55 Rocky Mountian AT on the stock 9" 20's with no spacer, no lift, and no rubbing. An 8" wide wheel would not cut it.

If I had a leveling kit, (and the money), I would run a 325/60R20 BFG AT hands down. I ran the BFG's on Jeeps and they are excellent in every situation except for sticky mud.
