Default Soft topper

i am still mulling over the need for a canopy.

what i want is to have a truxedo on my CC SB for everyday use, but when i go camping id like to have a canopy on so i can put the dog and our gear in a weather tight space.

so i was looking at the Soft Topper brand canopy as a cheaper alternative to a $1000 canopy id only use occasionally.

does any one have the soft canopy on their 4th gen ram?

pics would be great!!! i tried using search and it came up empty.

I had a soft topper on my "02 Tundra. Used it when I went camping and to put the dogs back there and took it off when I didn.t need it. I'm surprised I don't see more of these things. I loved mine. Great versatility and a quality product as well. You won't regret getting a soft topper.

I would have to agree I put one on my 2001 ram 1500 and pl. on putting one on the next ram I order later this year.have a taco with a R.R.E. On it it's no where near as versitle as the soft topper.the taco looks like a 4 runner .maybe that's why you see so many caps on fron lawns for sale. My 2001 1500 is silver so I got the charcoal top and it looks nice ,get lotsa compliments and can actually take the dogs with me and drop the top when I want to load the bikes in .i actually have a functional pick up instead of a suburban

soft topper & a BEDRUG would make a great combination

So $800 +/- for a soft topper compared to $1000-1200 for a regular shell. Outside of storage considerations it seems better to go with just a regular shell.
