Default Door trim - can't put back on. Help!

I removed the interior door trim to install new side view mirrors. The trim panels came off just fine. But getting them back on is proving difficult. My wife and I struggled for 15 minutes or so and are not able to get all the hooks to line up with their slots at the same time. Get one side and not the other. I tried muscling it and caused damage to one of the bottom hooks. So I gave up and will try again in the morning. If anyone has any tips or suggestions I would appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!

2012 RAM BH quad cab. Had tow mirrors, just switched to the standard (tour signal) mirrors.

So my GoogleFoo has provided me with a 'for dummies' instructional video!

Once I remove the door handle plate the trim went on without any problems. Thanks for the info!

Yep -- I had the same problem the first time. They come off easy enough, but I always remove the door handle surround, and switch panel prior to putting back on.
