Default need opinions on performance chips now and throttle body spacer?

i was told that a throttle body spacer would help a lot from my mechanic but i have been reading on here that it does nothing. Could yall tell me what yall think? And also im thinking about getting a "performance chip now", its only 55$ and it says it can add up too 75hp and 8mph. Has anyone tried it out?

They are pointless, just as you read on here. Ported TB will do you some good, but not a spacer.

Those cheap performance chips are garbage, you get what you pay for. What your looking for is a tuner. Theres no way it will give that much HP for $55

TB spacers are pointless. I bought a Superchips Paq and tuned it that way (would have loved the SCR, but couldn't afford it). Major difference in overall performance and shifting, not a dragster now, but much better than before. Also, try the bic pen trick with the accelerator cable, that woke mine up a bunch!

tb spacers are meant for carb engines. not fuel injected.

yet another falls for the $55 chip.
