Default Bolt On Combos And Power Gains

Hello, new guy here. I have a 2006 Hemi Ram Quad Cab Thunder Road that I bought new. The only thing that I have done to it as far as after market bolt ons, was to install a Flowmaster Super 44 and dumped it before the rear axle.

Now that the truck and my wife's vehicle is paid off, I would like to start moderately hopping up the Ram. I'm not looking to blow the doors off of anyone or enter it in a truck pull or anything, it's just a daily driver street truck.

I understand that in order to get the most out of standard bolt ons, they need to compliment each other and that CAI, Tuner, and exhaust are the most popular. I was also thinking about a Snow Performance water-methanol injection system and possibly an 87mm throttle body.

So the questions that I have are this:

What combos have worked out the best for the members here?

Does anyone have dyno proven results or just seat of the pants?

Any fuel mileage increases?

What power gains has anyone experienced with headers?

I know that these topics have likely been beaten to death on these forums but it seems that most are just asking about a single bolt on and what gains anyone is getting. I want to know who has all of these added together and what kind of power gains and mileage increases that they are getting.

As of now this is what I am thinking:

S&B or Vararam CAI (really liked the Ramhammer and the BFI but they are done)

Diablo or Superchips programmer

Not sure about which exhaust is best...

87mm, ported throttle body

Snow Performance water-methanol injection

Just wondering what gains could be expected from those mods and if there are any negative affects that could arise down the road.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you and I look forward to having more discussions on this great site!

Usually the water injection is for boosted engines, curious as to why you want to install it on a NA vehicle?

Superchips will be be the best programmer all around for what you are planning (although a custom tune would be better).

I have seen them used on NA engines before. The gains aren't as great as they are for boosted engines though, I will admit that. I dunno, I was always under the impression that the cooler the air is that you are sucking into the engine, the more power you will get. Add to the fact that the water-methanol injection is said to make the engine run cleaner as well...

Maybe it is a waste on a NA engine, that's why I started this thread, to try and see what works and what is a waste of money.
