Should be in your climate control settings, same as seat heaters

if you go to settings, there is an options that turns heat/cool seat off at start up. can't remember where. you will just have to explore.

There is another setting for each fob to have their own settings.

I tried mine last night, under settings>auto start comfort (maybe remote start comfort I forget) there is only one check box for the seats and steering wheel on startup. I unchecked it and the seat cooler doesnt come on when starting, when its checked it will turn the seat cooler on one light when starting (its hot in my garage, assuming it will turn the heaters on when cold.

If you are doing it with both fobs in the car make sure either the remember fob settings is disabled or both fobs have the same settings.

Yes, the key with the transmitter, if you have the memory seats/mirrors etc you can have the truck recognize the settings for two different keys. Sometimes if both people get in the truck with the key it gets confused as to which one's settings it should use. It can be disabled if you want and the settings stay the same no mattter what key you use.
