You're going to wire them parallel.
Positive to positive
Negative to negative
Then chose one woofer, and run another wire from its positive to the positive terminal on amp, then obviously a wire on same woofer from its negative terminal to the negative terminal on amp
This will produce a one ohm load so your mono amp better be one ohm stable

Yup. Only way to run is parallel that would be 1 ohm or series and it'd be 4 ohm.

Google woofer wiring wizard, its on rockfords site and follow the steps. It'll give you a pic of both ways to wire them up.

Would it be .5ohm if you ran a 2ohm parallel?

My understanding is impedence is a characteristic of the speakers, not the amp.
If you want your amp at 2ohms, connect a 2ohm speaker to it. Run two 2ohm speakers parallel, you get a 1ohm load. Some amps do not "enjoy" being ran at 1ohm...some will fry immediately, others handle it well.
The svc 2ohm sub in general is kinda not common if that makes sense. Most wiring diagrams, like rockford's, dont even have that configuration as an option for their diagrams etc...
The OP can either run his combo at 1 or 4ohms. @ 4 ohms he'll be at 1/2 power which means he should probably run a single sub instead of two, it would have more output. At 1ohm he may be running the risk of over working his amp....
Who knows...
