IMHO, you'll be good to go with Sean's tune with the drop-in you're speaking of.

Good luck.
I had a few e-mails back and forth with Sean asking about the Cold Intke Air before posting the question. I was trying to get his feedback on which CAI responded better to his tunes on the Ram, but just got a vauge statement saying the ram responds well to mods. SO... I was looking for some advice from someone who actually could tell me first hand wether the CAI is worth it with a Hemifever tune before I waste $300.

Thanks

Well there are many here with HemiFever's tune who also run AM intakes, so I hope they'll contribute to help.

Good luck.

Of course it will run better than stock and the more mods the better it will run. It's a matter of how far you want to go. As soon as I save enough money. I'm going forced induction

I started out with a k&n drop-in filter with the canned diablo tunes. Everything seemed fine until I upgraded to a 63 series CAI, the truck seemed to bog at wot. I contacted Sean & he made me a custom tune which fixed the problem. Now I'm running his V2 5850 rpm wot tune & loving it!

Thanks for that feedback! So would you say that the CAI with the adjusted tune is better and worth the $300 for the Intake, or was there not much diffrence between the drop in and CAI?

Thanks.

Pulled the trigger on the S&B intake. Now I just have to install it, send Hemifever some logs, and see what happens...

Thanks for the input.
