Default Changing over Vararam

Does anyone know specifically what has changed on the new Vararam intakes? I have one on my 11 and am trading it in for a 13. I'm assuming it's possible to just order a couple parts instead of a whole new intake?

I have the 13 version and to my knowledge the only change is ... mine came with a taller intake tube. There may be no reason for you to change anything at all. My 13 had a build date of 9/25/12.... I bought mine in December of 2012. On that build date RAM decided to run a few AC lines in a new way that caused them to be much higher in the engine compartment.
You'd never notice unless you were trying to add a Vararam intake or an S&B CAI- The lines get in the way.
All that said- RAM re-routed the AC lines on all build dates after that and that means the taller intake tube is not likely needed.

I'm no expert on Vararams or Ram AC lines..... The only reason I'm mentioning it is you said you already have the Vararam and I'm thinking it will fit just fine.
Their tech support line is (713) 477-8100 - They don't always pick up the phone but keep trying.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. I heard something about the active grille shutters causing issues on the 8 spds.
