Default Help: UConnect 3.0 & File Limits!

Hi,

I have tried to find an answer to this without success.

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 with the basic UConnect 3.0. I have a 16GB USB stick plugged into the centre console for my music. It has been working fine all along, however lately when I have added music, it does not show up in the directory.

Now, I have read online that many other manufacturers limit the amount of files per folder to 255. Is this true of Dodge?

If so, if I put 255 MP3/folder and then had 10 of so folders under one folder, then that should work right? For example, if I created a folder called ROCK and then had up to 255 folders under it with up to 255 files in each folder, then I would be fine, right?

Sorry if this is a duplicate question.

Thanks!

255 files/folders per folder sounds right. I plug my iPod in directly so it must work differently as I know there are more than 255 files in the folders on it.

Looks like I will just have to limit the folder sizes. Thanks!
