Default RHB Navigation radio install 2012 Help

I have found a RHB 430N nav radio at a reasonable price to install in my 2012 2500. The issue is that the screw holes are at the top and bottom instead of on the sides. Does anyone know if there is any way to change this? The RHB are hard to find in the $500 range and i do not want to let it go if it will work.

Any help would be appreciated.

That radio will work with your truck only if its a high speed cam. The mounting tabs need to be sawed off at top and bottom. Than the radio will fit into your bezel. You really dont need to mount it as the bezzel keeps it in place quite firmly. I used a grinder and sanded those tabs flush with the radio. I since came across another great deal that had the correct tabs on the sides and bought it. I sold my modified radio with tabs on top.

they used the same radio in several Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, & VW vehicles

some came with a different outer case, as you noticed with the TABs on the radio you purchased

I personally would be looking at your different options,
Like on the CRUTCHFIELD website
they have 1.5 din radios, like your Ram & they have Double Din radios, which need a bit of trimming to make fit

as in the post above, some of the other vehicles have a Low Speed Can Bus & still are a RHB 430
your Ram needs a HIGH SPEED CAN BUS system
so don't cut off the TABS until you double check which BUS your newly purchased radio has

Thanks fir the help. I decided to let the deal pass and look foe one with the correct tabs. The radio was a high speed but upon closer look it looked like it went through a mud pit. It was very dirty between buttons and case. Will look at the 1.5 din or keep looking for a rhb. Thanks for the help.
