Default Shock Replacement 2013 1500 4x4

To start of with, the YAHOO who designed the upper rear shock bolt setup ought to be taken out behind the shed and have his ass whipped. That said got it done, used 13/16 thinwall spark plug socket to get to inside nut, 23/8 hole saw thru the fender liner to get to bolt head, replaced factory lock nut with new nut and lock washer an tightend with impact. Put Bilsteins frt and rear, lifted the frt 2.1 with the 5100 series shocks. Oh and covered hole back with 600mph alum tape and painted Black.

Awesome. How difficult was the front swap? What size sockets and/or tools did you use. I'm doing the front soon.

So this will lift the front without the use of spacers?

Yes will adjust from stock to 2.75 lift 4 settings at .75 increments, set at 2.1 allows just a bit of nose low, i drop a trailer on and it sets level , also have a set of 1000lb airbags in rear at 50psi

I cant find anybody to install for less than $300 around here. Thats just the fronts.

Did you have the airbags inflated when you dropped the trailer on?

I also have the airlift 1000's and am wondering what size to put the shock setting at. I tow a boat and don't want the truck to sag.

rears arnt adj just the frts, i put on trailer aired to level and i leave them there, it took 50psi to level so no sag. 300.00 wow out here in farm country it,s not near as bad as that. Rears are a lot softer than the old style spring set up, but rides better. Frt setting i went with the 2.1 instead of the 2.75 some folks say there trucks vibrate at the CV,s on the 2.75 so i just went with what everybody said worked with no problems the 2.1 i did put 2in blocks in my 2011 and had no problems at that height, but i went with the the Bilseins this time as factory shocks suck and dont last but 15-20,000 mi
