How did you find out about the supplier rebate?

Usually Affiliates advertises it on the site. The dealers can also look them up.

True Car lists all of the rebates available when you build your vehicle through their site and has been the most comprehensive and easiest to read IMO. I went through the PenFed buying service, but I don't think you need a login to build one out - penfed.truecar.com. When you select the trim you will see an area below the options for rebates. Open that and scroll through what is available.

The $500 supplier rebate along with the $2000 competitive trade-in rebate I received are no longer offered, at least in my area.

I qualify for FFP though my employer, but I was able to find a better deal.. Even using Costco's auto buying program was better than the FFP pricing..

You being in America North, as I call it, I'm not sure what programs are out there but down here, there's a bunch though credit unions and other organizations. There's also organizations you can join to get FFP pricing, like Tread Lightly.

Here's some numbers I have for comparison purposes.....

MSRP is 62620. Invoice is 57033. FFP 56538 and Holdback is 1846.

Costco's price was $800 below invoice, making the price $56233 ... $300 lower than FFP pricing. Most dealers I call agreed to giving me 50% of the holdback $57033-$923 = $56110. One dealer is giving me the complete holdback $57033-$1846 = $55187... They all agreed to give me all possible rebates too.

Not always easy, but as you can see, it's fairly easy to beat the FFP pricing, so don't sweat it. If you look at the pricing threads, you'll see lots of people get invoice minus the 3% holdback + any qualifying rebates....

Good Luck!!
So would I be out of line if I assumed the actual markup is roughly 10%? I mean the price you got is 7700 less than the MSRP... that's a bit more than 10%, but then again the MSRP is much higher than the avg truck.

I tried the PenFed buyer service and didn't see anything.. All I got was a bunch of calls from dealers, I didn't want to talk to.

anyone know if Chrysler will extend a discount to GM employees? As funny as that must sound, my dad just retired from GM but I would never drive one of their trucks. I have an custom order in place for a 2014 sport and I'm trying to wriggle any discounts possible out of the dealer.

My invoice sheet had an "EP" price that was almost 2k below the FFP. I can only assume that is the Employee Price.

Yup.

EP = Employee Price
PP = Preferred Price (FF/Affiliates program)
