Edited in bold

Some, very few doors, do NOT work with the Homelink.

Call Homelink and give them your garage door's model number and they'll look it up and tell you there-n-then.

HERE is what I had to purchase to get mine to work.

Or maybe THIS thread may help you.

Good luck.

If it's a revolving code type opener, there's some special steps you have to do.

If you have a newer opener, from the late 90's or better, you have a rolling code opener. It will have a "learn" button on it. Follow the steps to clear the memory in the homelink then program it with the remote, then hit the learn button and jump back in the truck and hit and hold the button you programmed again.

I tried and tried...the truck says it learned the code...never has worked for me. I even hand the tech guy at the dealer look at it and we were stumped.

I did the same thing and it too frustrated the sheet out of me.

I called Homelink and they confirmed my rolling-code Apple garage door and model were not compatible with their system.

The $10.00 part in reply 2 was all it needed.
