Default help...can I install plow on a Sport

I have searched for a while and cannot find any info on anyone putting a plow on a Ram Sport.
My bumper setup is very low and I had not considered that for when I install a plow. I really have no intentions of cutting up my poor bumper
(has anyone lifted their front with the bilstein 5100's and then used a plow)

1500s are not heavy enough for plows.

Hunter nailed it, I wouldn't put a plow on a 1500. A Powerwagon would be the perfect platform for a plow truck!

I am only going to be plowing my own driveway not any commercial plowing. (i have never plowed anyone else because I do not think it is worth the liability or wear and tear.)
I would either buy a homesteader or an HT plow.
I was just hoping to see some pictures of somebody that may have mounted one on a 4th gen 1500 already

you would be voiding any warranty you have left. they make light plows for trucks with a front end receiver. maybe that is what you want to look at.

Default Why not plow with a 1500

I put a ht plow on my 2012 1500 last month and I too only plow my driveway, I put a 2" leveling spacer with timbrens, I'm not sure how the bumper cover will fit for the sport but I took the lower panel off my standard bumper instead of cutting it. Plows have been put on 1/2 ton trucks for years, thats why the manufacturers make them, as long as they are used for what they are designed for, not like you are looking to put an industrial plow on the truck

Yuppies put plows on ridgelines. Those things are stamped out of a dime.
A light "homeowner" plow on a 1500 pushing the lane will last a long time.
