Dont want to take my word for it

azzo540, also a Magnacharged 4G Hemi....Killed a record 5 ATS transmissions

Kits like the Magnacharger also run Very Hot, and don't often come with an intercooler option.
its a shame because they cost about $1000 more than the Procharger kits that come with intercooler
...or a Ripp Vortech kit that includes intercooler AND a water to air heat exchanger.

Be careful when comparing kits, you dont always get what you pay for
and my have to add an intercooler system of your own and/or a Water/Meth kit to cool things down.

If you think a roots/screw is better simply because it delivers more instant power down low
...I can assure you that is not a limitation with my Centrifugal Vortech supercharger

I can full throttle launch mine and chirp the tires into second gear in 4WD !
(305/50R20 Terra Grapplers on stock 20's, 3.55 gears, stock shift points (5600rpm)
Hot afternoon and totally heat soaked....

Edge 2800 stall now flashes to 3300 RPM , if I didn't have 4WD I would have serious traction issues lol
I believe you bud. After doing the research, I think I'm going with the RIPP kit unless I can find a good deal on the Procharger system. RIPP said they had good luck with factory trans on 6 psi. What's your take on that? I may run 6 psi daily and also have a backup tune for when I want to change the pulley and crank the boost up to 8 psi for a race.

Also, what are the trans options for the new 6 speeds in the 11-12 trucks like mine? I wasn't sure if anyone was offering built trans for the 6 speed yet.

Is there any way to convert the 11-12 to the previous 545RFE trans?

the new *cough* "6" in the 1500's
is the exact same transmission as the 545RFE

The only difference is they made the kick down gear (2nd prime)
accessible in the regular up shift sequence by reprogramming the TCM.

Anyone running a 545RFE could easily replicate the same thing by manually shifting it.

I wouldn't hesitate to contact MGH (Mike from L&M Customs) for anyone running boost
when it comes to building a solid transmission for a Ram Truck.

Also, do you have any contact info for L&M? I've tried looking them up on google with no luck.

Try using the forum search for L&M Customs, mgh is Mikes username.

Should be several good threads about transmissions.

I'm not sure if you missed it, but I did mention in my first reply,
that Ripp doesn't have a tune written for the 2012 Rams yet.

Perhaps it will be soon now that Mike from L&M and Josh from HHP
are working together with Ripp.

My kit was running 8psi right out of the box,
So I guess my kit shipped as a Stage 3 power level (pulley/tuning)
I can easily move the boost levels up or down by 2psi just by changing my shift points by 200-300 rpm.
