Default Turns over too long b4 starting

Hello. I have 2005 dodge ram daytona 1500 5.7 L. About evry 4th or 5th start, my truck turns over a little longer before starting. Lately it's been every 2 or 3 starts. Sometimes not for a while. There is no check engine light on. I replaced fuel pump 2 years ago. It has new spark plugs. It is high mileage 180K. I've had it for 5 yrs and it's always done this. After changing the fuel pump though you'd think it would've done the trick. It's annoying. Any ideas?

could possibly be your crankshaft position sensor.
my issue was that about once a month when turning the ignition it would turn but not start. when I would try turning the ignition again, it would start. well once a month became a daily issue. I posted my problem and the sensor was the possible answer I got. I swapped it out and haven't had any starting issues since.

Thx for the response. Would the check engine light come on?
