You CAN get the 6'4" with crew cab, but only in higher trims.

I got the quad and am happy with it. I have a problem with sub 6' beds on "trucks" but it all depends on what you are going to use it for I guess. The quad provides virtually the same room as my old '04 Crew cab 2500 and I never had any issues. Even the quad has way more room than any trucks we sat in the back in growing up and we survived.

As far as motors go it's no question, get the Hemi! Not that the 4.7 is a bad motor but gas mileage won't be worse with the Hemi and you have way more power and parts are more abundant. I can't speak about insurance differences as mine is stupid cheap even with the Hemi.

Default Quad vs Crew

Bigboy73

So if you want gas mileage, entertain the 3.6L Pentastar with either quad or crew. I usually use my truck as a glorified car. Typically, it is just myself and I was in a similar boat as you. However, as others have said the crew cab gives you room that if you want to pile in 3 other buddies and make a run, you can. The quad cab would not be impossible but not comfortable.

I just bought a v6 crew cab and love it. It has suprisingly good power and 22MPG AVG to boot.

Fold flat storage is an awesome option and I am not sure it is available for quad cabs... maybe???
Both mine and my dad's quad cabs have fold flat storage.

Thanks for confirming. It is a great option (should be a standard feature imho)
