Default Tranny problems ???

Hi guys . . . My name is Ross and i'm new to this forum. I've had my 05 ram 1500 2WD SLT for about 6 years now with 95k miles (had 20k when i bought it pre-owned). The first issue i've been having for the past year or so is in the mornings when i start it up: sometimes it will sputter and almost go into some type of limp mode, which I then turn it off and back on to fix. Also, recently i've noticed that if i pull away gently from a stop (with very little throttle input) the truck seems to "pulse" in first gear and won't shift into second. If i get on the gas out of a stop normally, it shifts from first to second smoothly and without issue. Since I've been recently having some issues, I decided to do some much needed maintenance. Yesterday, I dropped the transmission pan and changed both filters, replacing the drained fluid with 5 quarts of ATF +4 fluid. Today, it seems like it will hardly move when i give it gas when stopped. Once it gets going, it seems fine. Anybody have any suggestions? It seems to me like an electrical issue, but i'm stumped. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

That doesn't sound like an electrical issue, more like a shift solenoid issue. And unless you are a tranny guy, or you slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night, I would take it to a reputable tranny shop.

Check it for transmission fault codes. Is the trans shifting at all (in Drive)? Sounds like it might be in full limp-in (4th gear only), which indeed could be due to some electrical problem.

The "hardly moves" problem... is that only when you first start it up? So after you get going, and then come to a stop, will it then take off OK, or does it still feel like a slug?

i have a 2004 dodge ram with 5.7 hemi 2wd i am having problems with my transmission it is kicking itself out of overdrive so i scanned it and it showed 716 speed sensor 700 and 876 so i changed the fluids and both filters and the speed sensor it changed out as it should then after i drove it into town about 10 miles and stoped at a local parts store and had them scan it again the speed sensor code is gone i was there about 15 min when i left it started kicking out of od again i drove it about 15 miles and scanned again and it only threw up the 700 code i then drove it back to parts store and scanned again there it showed 700 and 876 could it be the trans fluid pressure sensor that is doing this
