Default How to remove radio trim plastic?

Does anybody have pictures or know how to move the center plastic trim where the radio and pullout tray are? I want to mount a cb in place of the pullout tray or even at the bottom piece of plastic at the floor but not sure how to go about getting them apart.

This should get you started........

It's about Metra's new double din dash kits. There is a section on the video which shows them taking off the radio trim. It's quick, but shows how it comes off.

Good luck

I figured it out but thanks, that'll help somebody in the future. Remove the rubber mat on top tray, unscrew the two star screws, then pull off the panel as in the video. There will be many plugs to it, I left them in and gently let it rest and went on to the middle section.

The middle plastic trim section that contains the pullout tray has 6 hex screws (use a socket). 4 on top that you can see when you remove the top trim. The other two are below, you have to remove the bottom trim pull pulling it off, straight back towards the seat. Then get your head down to the floor and you will see the other two screws.

Once all 6 screws are out, you can pull it away and unplug both power sockets with your fingers. Do NOT attempt to remove the pullout tray without removing the middle trim section! Luckily I didn't and found out the tray is screwed into metal sliders which are screwed into the middle section.
