Default Saved $$ with the Bayou Goat Mount

I was considering replacing my uconnect 5.0 RA2 w/ an aftermarket radio with nav and losing my vehicle setting and gauge evic screen controls until I found this product. I hated the idea of mounting a portable gps on the window or on a nonworking dash mat. This product is simple, clean and does it's job. I am so happy I waited and found your product online and didn't waste a ton to money doing something I would have regretted anyway. The mount looks like it is factory and works flawlessly. I also appreciate the fast shipping.

Exclamation Bayou Goat Mount - excessive vibration

I recently installed the Bayou Goat mount on my 2013 Ram and have attached a GPS to it. The mount is a great concept and is very functional at a stop. But, soon as I start driving the vibration is so great that when looking at the GPS I feel like I have epilepsy. I'm disappointed because I use my GPS a lot and this mount offered the perfect placement. Sadly, I will be returning my mount.

Are you sure it's the mount and not the GPS holder that is vibrating? My mount is 100% solid but I do get vibration but that is because of the holder for my cell phone.
I have nothing bad to say about this mount... Looks stock and is a solid piece of kit.

The location where the mount is held in place is the cause of the vibration. I did put a piece of plastic to wedge the mount for stability which helped decrease the vibration. I sold this mount to a friend and went back to mounting my GPS on the radio screen which has no vibration.

That's weird - I think yours sticks up MUCH higher out of the tray than mine does... I'll take a pic tomorrow when it stops snowing and is light out.
