Thumbs up

I use amsoil 5w20,there xl series oil and change it every 8000kms.I use mopar filters as well.I quit using mobil1 a while back cause if you read the sae specs on the back of the bottle, they have taken something out of there oil and it no longer meets the chrysler specifications! That's why if you go and buy synthetic oil from the dealer, they are selling you pennzoil ultra synthetic which is also an excellent product.I have foung since using the amsoil that my fuel mileage is up a wee bit and that nottorius hemi tick noise is about 90% gone.Just my opinion, but i've been a tech for 28 years, and seen the inside of a ton of engines,as well as having built many race motors, and pennzoil or amsoil is all i will use.

+1 to Amsoil. It exceeds every certification that is out there. Here is an interesting read on the product. http://autoengineer.wordpress.com/20...api-licensing/
Bullysperformance is actually an Amsoil dealer. If you get a preferred customer membership you will pay wholesale prices. And if you don't use the oil, at least look into the filters, they are top notch.

I run penzoil platinum and get it at advance auto parts during their oil change specials. Good deal for 5 qts and a $10 + oil filter.

Use anything but M1. That craptastic oil cost me two diffs and and engine in my jeeps. Amsoil, Royal Purpal, Penzoil Syn, even Castrol Syntec are all better products.

Care to elaborate? Curious to know how Mobil1 "cost two diffs and engine in your jeeps". I am using Amsoil now, but I have and many others as well have used Mobil1 with good success. Mobil1 typically comes out near the top in many of the test comparisons I have read over the years.

I've used amsoil, mobil 1, and whatever the dealer uses in their bulk synthetic. Spent the money on an oil analysis to boot.

My take on the results sent back is that they're all darn good, kind of made me a believer in extended changes and reclaimed oil.
