Default Starting issue

Just had a concerning issue that has never happened before. I was in a local store for about an hour, and when I came out and started the truck, it started, and almost immediately stopped. When I tried to restart it, it took quite a few seconds to turn over, than started. It idled very low, and finally picked up rpm's after I gave it some throttle. Then it ran at a high idle for about 30 seconds, with the cooling fan running. Finally, it settled down to a normal idle, and the cooling fan shut off.

What could this be? Has anybody experienced this issue? There were no fault codes showing. This is a 2011 Ram Hemi Crew Cab 4X4.

I've had that happen a time or two in my 05, and on some other vehicles. I think the computer gets outta sync, for lack of a better term, or something just isn't right with the readings, so it shuts down. Then when you start up again, it has to go through and recheck everything to find out what the issue was. I hate to say it's one of those things, but it's one of those things. Chalk it up to computer error.

Yes, for both our sakes. Do you have any warranty left? If you do, take it to the dealer and get a ticket started on it. They're not going to find anything, but at least they will have a record of it.

It's got just under 40,000 miles on it now. I have had to do some lengthy driving, so it has higher miles than I would like. But, whatcha gonna do?
