WTF - why would they do this kind of crap? The trucks are all basically the same mechanically. Makes no sense at all.

I am guessing they might have gotten tired of angry calls from 2013 owners who were less than happy with their fuel mileage being much less than stated by dodge.

That and I have to wonder if the 8 speed makes some of the old utility of taller gear ratios less important, unless you are really towing heavy.

Ok, maybe the camera comes standard with the 8.4. And only the upper classes have the 8.4 standard.

Front 'Bench' was always cooled on a Laramie or Longhorn. Despite the option for buckets vs bench showing cooled seats and the center console, they're the same seat bases and the ventilation function was there. You're paying $500 for heated rear seats, and the console. (before the 8 speed tranny, you also got the console shifter vs the column shifter. Now with the 8spd, that's not relevant)
Folks have posted pics of their 2013 Laramies with the 'bench', and they def have cooled seats.

Did they strengthen the parking prawl for both versions of the 8 speed? I had heard that it was just for the 8 speed v6 combo.

Can you post a link to the "Press Release"?

I'd like to see that.

Thanks
