I had a 79 chevy pickup that would not take gas but really slow or it would kick the pump off.Try putting the nozzle in upside down worked great for me

I don't have this problem with my Ram equipped with the 32 gallon tank, but I can't seem to get the last 2 gallons into my wife's Camry. I solved the problem by pumping 2 gallons into a portable fuel container and then topping off her tank with it when I get back home.

Next time it does that try pulling out the nozzle just a little bit. My Mustang wouldn't let me get the last couple of gallons in if the nozzle was all the way in the filler neck. Backing it out usually helps the situation. Fuel flow is either too fast or there might be an EVAP issue.

There is a screen in the gas tank vent tube, its designed to keep dust and dirt out of the tank. If it clogs up then air can't vent out of tank when filling. Usually requires the tank filler assembly to be replaced, should be a warranty item.

+1 on that....my 05 GT was a mess with that....found out there was a TSB on it.....fuel neck design flaw.....could be with the ram if the fuel level gets too low, air builds up in tank, clicking off the nozzle.
