Default 3 new mods that did happen!

Well the three newest mods to my truck are about to take place.

Ive finallly gotten around to ordering the rear Weathertech Digifit liners, the Flowmaster catback system (just to be different from my old maggie set up), and a BedRug to replace my plastic liner!

Ill be posting pics as soon as they are installed (hopefully by the weekend!)

Default 3 new mods complete!

Sorry for the double post, but i couldnt update the title of my previous post where i indicated these mods were going to happen;

anyhow, the rear weather techs are in, the catback is on, and the bedrug is installed.

The rear weathertech mats are a great fit, and a much needed addition with having children. it will definately cut down on the dirt and grime, expecially with winters, embedding in the carpet. here are some pics;

AS for the catback, its the Flowmaster FLO817490 KIT. So far, im very happy with the kit. it is a little louder than i expected (because the 50 series is a moderate exterior sounds by flowmasters description) but nevertheless it sounds really nice. installation with a hoist took less than an hour, and the most time was spent on deciding the tip placement. the kit allows for ither under the bumper or behind the wheel installation. ive never liked the look of the behind the wheel installation with this kit, because i dont like the angle that the tips exit, but i really wanted them to exit there.

i never got any pics during the installation, but here are a couple of sound clips...

it is supposed to be a stainless kit with a 50 series muffler, however, my mechanic friedn who installed it doesnt think is is a great quality stainless because it is magnetic. although, he welded the seams with SS rod and it worked, he just thought it may be lower quality stainless. only time will tell i guess.

as for the bedrug...what an awesome product...ill have to post some pics of the damage that the drop in MOPAR liner caused to the truck, but paint is scratched, rubbed off and rusting. also i had a small bucket of stones/dirt/mulch/and other debris laying under the cover. what a mess.

installation of the bedrug was about 2 hours with cleaning and prepping the bed for installation, but the fit is amazing, and the look cant be beat. the bedrug is also designed to be easy cleaning and mold/mildew resistant, and apparently can still be used to transport stone/dirt etc. although i dont think that will be happening now. and of course, pics...

Thanks for the tip! I think before I haul much else ill have to get some heavier springs. I find a big loss in hauling cargo with the coil springs. I used to be able to carry 2 yards of dirt in my 96 ram with the leaf springs, but even half a yard in this one almost drags the bumper!
