Default plasti dip

Finally had time to plasti dip the emblems. This stuff works well, it was my first time using it. Here are a couple of pics

Looks good!!

I debadged my side emblems and dipped my ram heads.

I also used it to dip my new steel fishin pole holders I made at work. That stuff is awesome.

Do the emblems have to be removed for this?

That's looks spectacular, bear! Now you should get some color match paint and do the background red. That'll really make the Ram pop. Reps for a great job!

No, you don't have to remove the emblems. Just tape above and bellow the letters and then you can remove/peel the excess in and around the letters with a toothpick. Takes some time and patience, but the effort is well worth the awesome look.

I like the fact that we don't have to remove them.. its a little weird at first when you start to spray but once you start to peel the overspray off the feeling goes away. Just doesn't seem right to be over spraying but all good

I have noticed plastidip is not good on large surface areas. Its really hard to get an even finish on say a hood, or roof.

But it is perfect for stuff like emblems.
