Default Dumb tuner ?

I read about these tuners for the newer Hemi trucks. Do you have to leave that ugly thing plugged in all the time or do you tune the truck and then unplug it.
Sorry to sound stupid but I'm more the carburetor days.

Which tuner, I think some you can leave plugged, some you can remove.

The Trinity can be left in or taken out. The intune has to be taken out.

I have the trinity and actually like it left it to monitor engine temps, throttle position etc.

Look on craigslist. I got a used one for $300 and paid $100 for a custom tune.

Just make sure it is unmarried!

man thats a steal.. i seen them go for 500 plus. new of course and it included a custom tune as well. just saying the op may go either route.. i prefer new though due to less risk of the PO messing with it before i get it.

I'm presently using a superchips flashpaq and love it. you plug it in and follow the prompts , then use one of the 5 programs and then unplug it.
