Did you ever figure out if the mopar fan was 2 speed, I'm scanning these pages and it seems some people were worried about that?

All fans are single speed

(the two speeds referred to are regarding vehicle speed, not fan speed)

High Speed setting is for over 10mph fan turns on at a set temp,
190º-195º is good with a 180 stat because wind in the rad means you don't really need the fan going at highway speed

Low Speed setting is for when your at idle or slow stop and go traffic and may want the fan to turn on sooner at a lower temp...like 180º-185º since the rad isn't getting cooled by in coming air flow.

I would do the e-fan mod whenever is convenient to you, it can be done tomorrow or when you do the turbo, won't matter, but I hated the clutch fan setup because I'd have to remove the fan shroud anytime I wanted to do any proper cleaning to the engine bay.

topsub,

$299 for Boost insurance is a good idea
you'll protect your stock pistons from burning up
bring your pump gas octane up to 116 and pick up 10%-15% HP

I just finished my install this weekend, adjusted to kick in only after 4psi boost
tapping into the stock washer fluid tank and using -35º premix
(60/40 water/meth washer fluid is only $2.99/Gal)

BlackRamHemi,

Did you go with single nozzle? Where did you tap in the nozzle(s)?

Thanks.

I upgraded to the dual nozzle option

I tapped the tube at 3 and 9 o'clock just after the IAT sensor and before the TB coupler
(after trimming an inch off the coupler, see pic below...coupler is about 1" longer than needed)

(before the BOV far right is the boost line that runs to the pump switch)
