How hard is that install? And what kind of tools for you need to install it with? Did you do any other upgrades beside dual nozzles?

Install is super easy, once I started laying out the parts
and reading along with the instruction.

My only complaint is their instruction are missing all the key diagrams and images.
When I tried to contact them by email or phone I was totally ignored.
I hate asshats that ignore you once they have your money

Thankfully there are several other companies that use similar components
WITH complete instructions on line (Devils Own, Snow Performance and Alcohol Injection.com)

Only thing I had to buy was an 11/32" drill bit, and a 1/8"-27 NPT Tap
No special tools required, tubing just pushes into the connectors, then a quick tug secures it.

Tapping the Aluminum tube was the only nerve racking part,
I hate doing the sh!t cuz I don't have spares if I don't get it right the first time

thanks for that info, Andrew is going to get me a price tomorrow, so if its not to bad i will buy it and do lift later.

If i do get it i will try to buy any necessary parts needed so when i start it i can do it 100% from start to finish.

I love blower as much as anyone but wouldn't put one on a stock 5.7. Hope anyone who puts a blower on one of these engines knows enough to tear down the engine and widen the ring gap and while your at it beef up the rotating assembly. hope you have lot's of cash in the bank when you blow up your motor. These engines are ok, just not blower ready. Just my opinion, but have heard a lot about failures. But then again, who knows, I could be wrong, do your home work before taking the plunge. I'd love a blower, just can't afford an engine and a blower.
Happy Horsepower!

Lots of Failures?

Post a link to at least ONE such example on a 4G Hemi Ram,
I'm a member on at least 5 different Ram forums and there's a trail of dead transmissions....absolutely no failed Hemi motors.

I'm not saying it cant happen, just asking you to back up your comments
I know of at least a dozen 4G 5.7L with 6-8 psi of boost, Many of them driven hard since 2010

If People were REALLY blowing 4G Hemi's ,
Surely we would have heard about it by now, so where are they?

a complete forged rotating assembly upgrade from Arrington is just over $3k if you're still paranoid

according to this genius,
I can just return my ride to stock,
replace my pcm and the dealer would never know I had a supercharger

Motor replaced for Free under Warranty !

A little assurance against the giant.

I've been running 9.5 psi for just over a year now.

Water/Meth is no guarantee, but it is almost considered a $300 insurance policy
and it sure as heck helps if you want to push your psi from 6 to 9.
(most sc kits start at a conservative 6psi) anyone pushing past that needs to take further steps (IMHO)

I run 8-9psi on meth too, even with a bad batch of fuel, it's almost impossible to get detonation
when your boosting your 91-93 octane pump gas to over 110-116 when ever your in 4psi + boost.

http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com/

Benefits Of Water Methanol Injection:
  • Lower air charge temperatures by 40-200+ degrees
  • Increase your fuel’s octane by 10-25+ points
  • Increase horsepower safely by 10-15%
  • Allows you to safely run more boost and timing
  • Removes carbon build-up from combustion chambers, pistons and valves
  • Longer more stable combustion expansion and progression
  • Reduces and helps eliminate engine damaging detonation and pre-ignition
  • No need for expensive racing fuel or additives

So pending the price i get from andrew this is my list:

e-fan mod
catch can
water/meth kit
supercharger

Then install time.

That's a pretty good start,

eventually you'll want a boost gauge
and a wide band mounted to a pod on your A Pillar

If you can keep your right foot off the floor boards,
you "might" be able to make your transmission last long enough
...until you can save up for Mike at L&M Customs to build yours up to handle Full Boost.($2500)
