Default 2014's with Magnaflow muffler

Anyone out there with a 2014 install a Magnaflow muffler yet? Not the full catback exhaust just the muffler.

Also I'm wondering if the install is a simple process. Do you have to cut the stock muffler off or is it bolted on with u bolts?

I've got one on my 13... stock is bolted on but is way easier to cut it off. If you try to unbolt it you need to take everything off from the muffler back.

When I put Magnaflo's on my last truck, they sounded super loud at first....nothing like the youtube expamples the company provided. Called Magnaflo and tech said they would quiet down after a few hours of use. He was correct. After a day or so, they quieted down and noticeably mellowed to that cool rumble. The genuine stainless steel remained free of rust and always looked good while sounding great.

Ok sounds pretty easy. Then you just bolt the Mag muffler up in there with U bolts right? you don't have to weld anything.

Right. On a new truck, you won't have to deal with the rusted on bolts which generally require a torch to remove.

Just slip them on to 'dry fit' the system. When everything looks good with proper clearances, bolt everything home securely. Make sure the exhaust tips properly clear the rear bumper fascia for proper exhaust flow.
