Default Slight lift options?

Hey guys. Just got my black 1500 sport crew cab and I love it. My only disappointment is the truck height. Years ago I had a 2500 that was perfect from factory however, the 1500 is just a bit low to thr ground for me. Do I have an option that doesn't involve a lift kit? I've read about the ride adjust shocks that can add up to 3" however, I am not sure if this is the proper application. I am thinking 3" would be plenty and would give me the opportunity to add a bigger tire to my 20's. Forgive me if this is a novice question however, I have very little experience in this area. Thx in advance

Not a novice question and you're absolutely right. Lots of guys running the Bilsteins up front and some even run a rear spacer to get the height up front and still retain a slight rake. Depending on what kind of rake you have and what kind of stance you're looking for will dictate where to set the Bils.

Just leveling these trucks will allow you to run a 35" tire with either a spacer on the stockers or an aftermarket wheel with atleast a +1/0 offset.

3" is achieved via level and body lift.
But leveling your ram will allow you to run larger tires and rid of the factory rake if that's what you'd like to do.

What is your overall look you're after?

Thanks guys. I like the rake, i just want a bit more ground clearance and an opportunity to add a bigger tire. Will the bilsteins work in this application? Fudrock, tell me more about the spacer option?

Then as Fudrock mentioned, you will want the spacer which comes in sizes ranging from 1/2" - 2.5" and usually sits on top of your rear coil to add height

Coil spacer or wheel spacer? One adds height and the other adds backspace to your wheels.
